Model and Photography Exposition
LYNCHBURG RAILDAY, Aug. 13, 2011 CATEGORIES:

    Photograph - 8x10 color or B&W
    Freight and Passenger cars
    Steam and Diesel Locomotives
    Structure
    Diorama - Model of RR scene
    Favorite Train - Circus, passenger, logging, etc.
 

The purpose of this exposition is to show the public what model railroaders do as well allowing modelers to compete for prizes. We are encouraging all modelers, regardless of skill level, to show their modeling work. Whether it is a scratch-built locomotive or a ready-to-run model that has been repainted or weathered.

For the competition oriented modelers:
    locomotives, cars, and structures
    will be judged for craftsmanship, originality, and workmanship, and prizes awarded.
Prizes for favorite train, diorama, and photography,
    will be awarded by popular appeal.
This should provide rewards for all levels of modeling skill.

Photographs should be 8x10 color or B&W, mounted on poster board.

Favorite train can be any train of interest, not more than 8 ft. long

Dioramas are not size restricted, but about 9x18 inches is, probably appropriate.
Entries should be in place by 10AM Aug. 13
